Patterns in the Cut Work Portraits & Other Art Quilts book

Little Joseph made a great pic to base the Greatest Gift quilt pattern!  Thanks to my daughter again for the photo.
Sir Diploma features my nephew, Darren, in his senior pic taken by my daughter, Diana, of Peters Photography.

Diploma Miss captures a young lady from church, Taylor.  Thanks again to Peters Photography.

Delite-ful Doggy is based on this photo of my mother's dog - Delite.  Again, my daughter took the photo.
Purr-fect Pussy was created when Linda White, a member of the Quilting Board, eagerly volunteered this pic to become a pattern.

Linda White also sent this pic of a flower from her garden.

This adorable little guy was a client of my daughter too.  When I saw the pic, I knew he had to become a pattern!  The teddy bear's paw are over sized to allow room for embroidery or beadwork to spell out baby name & data.

This cutie is the daughter of a coworker, so when the announcement was accompanied by this photo, I knew I had found the girly version of Teddy & Me.  I put a patch of stripey fabric in one corner, and added her name and birth details with little alpha beads like you make name bracelets with.

This is a pattern I created, based on a couple of photos of my oldest grandson, and his 3rd sister.  Oh, I edited out the wrist watch before turning him into Joseph!  You will notice that I had to combine several photos to get the exact look I wanted.
